It is important for the customer to understand the impact of the recommended improvements.

The building envelope or the thermal envelope includes walls, ceilings, floors, doors, windows and skylights. All of these components are measured using the R-value which determines heat flow. Leaks within the thermal envelope greatly affect the efficiency of the properties energy consumption. Many of these leaks are not readily apparent or visible to the owner. We utilize thermal imaging to highlight where these leaks are hiding.

Thermal imaging, infrared imaging or thermography detects radiation given off all objects based on their temperatures. The amount of radiation given off an object increases with temperature which allows the thermographic camera to see variation between different temperatures. Firefighters utilize thermography to see through smoke to help find people during a fire event. We use thermography to "see" what is hidden in plain sight. We find heat escaping your home costing you money, making your home less comfortable and increasing emissions.
